So, I was watching a documentary called pretty things. Now, I don't know about you, but most of the people I perform with have some grace. I have never heard of the girl in this and she was asking so many dumb questions it was painful to watch. And the older performers, you could tell, were kindof aware that she was not up to their caliber, as few are. But couldn't they have gotten a more intelligent girl to do the interviews? I mean, there is a whole couintry full of performers. They could have chosen from so many and they got her?! Who are you again?! I don't know, it was neat to watch to see the old costumes which gave me a bunch of new ideas for costumes, and hear the stories from the old days of burlesque, but man.....ouch....That pretty much sums it up.....

So, it has been raining for he last 4 days. I love it. I don't miss the sun, really....If it could rain 6 days out of 7, and sun for 1 day I would be happy...oh wait...thats winter...lol....
Been doing some photography work. I am going to try and convince the man to do some more tonight. Maybe he'll say yes again. It would be mighty nice...I am so pleased with the recent results. For not having worked in awhile I realise that the instincts are still there. It is a relief.
Tampa Fetish Con was fun. Got some new clothes and some other new stuff. Saw some good people and got annoyed several times, but it was all part of the fun....I was reminded that some people are just annoying when they are drunk. I can be one of those people, but thie particular one made me walk away. Yes, I need get in afew subtle insults, such as when she told me she was a dom i said, 'aren't we original." I should have said, "a dom at a fetish convention?! imagine that!" Hindsight is 20/20.....
As for manly wisdom, a friend of my boyfriend said something to me which I thought was sweet in it's own way, " There are some girls you just fuck and some girls you date and you are one the girls that you date." lol.......
Got a new ferret. She is mighty cute and very energetic. Her name is Star.
Time to get to work on a nw skirt...yawn. The only problem with rainy days is that I feel so tired that I have to drink a million cups of tea...ah well.....

i dont have much to say tonight, except that once again I am reminded that there are people in the world that have no lives.
I dont care about them. why do they care about me so much?! It boggles the mind really....
Not that I really spent much time thinking about it. The heat here is melting my brains. I have barely done any thinking lately. When I am in air conditioning I begin functioning normally again. Outside, I am lucky to remember to breathe.
I am glad I don't live in the REALLY hot places. No black outs in my neck of the woods yet, thank goodness.
I am so glad that I have my house. It is about 10 degrees cooler out there than in the city, even though the attic is like a sauna. I walked in and was like, shit, I don't need a steam room. I've already got one! Heh......I really need to put a fan in there to circulate the air...

Yeah, when it rains it pours...funny how that happens. and so, I have 2 shows in one night...that should be interesting...Getting back in to manhattan from brooklyn to do the 2nd show on a sat. night...
Ah well. It could be worse. I could have no shows....
Had a panic moment last night and drank too much...Me drink?! Never....
Spilled my beads all over the floor. Most distressing.
Got a new costume today in the mail. It is one of the most beautiful costumes I own. I am honoured to be wearing it. Simone of Exquisite Restraint, LA, made it for me and I am greatly looking forward to shooting in it and performing in it. God, how I love clothing. It's such a source of pleasure in my life. If it wasn't for beautiful clothes my life would suck.
